The annual South Dakota Speech and Hearing Convention is presented by SDSLHA in partnership with the South Dakota Hearing Aid Dispensers’ Association. This two-day presentation is the premier regional education opportunity for speech/language and hearing professionals in South Dakota and the surrounding states of Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska and North Dakota.

The April 18 th and 19 th 2008 convention will take place at the Washington Pavilion in Sioux Falls, the largest city in South Dakota. Sioux Falls is conveniently located at the junction of Interstate Highways 29 and 90 and is within comfortable driving distance of Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska and North Dakota. Activities begin on Thursday with vendor set-up in the Schulte Room at the Pavilion in the late afternoon and early evening. Two full days of educational presentations continue on Friday and Saturday. Convention attendees are provided with morning breakfasts, mid morning and mid afternoon refreshments and Friday evening appetizers, all taking place in the Schulte Room. We have also expanded our break times to ensure maximum direct contact time with all attendees.

Our Vendor Brochure offers more information including the vendor and advertising options that could put your business or learning opportunity into the hands of all the attendees at this year's convention! We offer a wide range of sponsorship plans with many benefits that will ensure exposure of your company in the region during the convention weekend and throughout the year. Come to South Dakota and see our “great faces and great places”!
